Azure API Management (APIM) is a way to create consistent and modern API gateways for existing back-end services.
Azure API Management helps organizations publish APIs to external, partner, and internal developers to unlock the potential of their data and services.
Log into Azure Portal at https://portal.azure.com search for API Management and select API Management Services:
You will see below, Click Add:
Enter a Name, Resource Group, and all required fields below after that click Create:
Wait for the deployment to complete. This may take a few minutes. You will see the status as Activating.
Once complete, the API Management Service will change to Online.
Open the Azure API Management Service and select API from the menu. Note the options to add:
- Blank API
- OpenAPI
- WADL
- WSDL
- Logic App
- API App
- Function App
